The Gluck Outreach Program at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) serves 10,000 underserved youth annually.  It has two elements: Take Part in Art! and LACHSA on the Road.

Take Part in ART invites inner-city students, K-12, to experience LACHSA's award winning ensemble performances: Dance, Jazz, Opera, Orchestra, Musical Theatre, Big Band. Participants sign up on a first come, first served basis. Study guides highlighting important aspects of the performances are provided for teachers prior to their visit. Performances are presented in an educational format, often with pre-concert lectures at various venues throughout Los Angeles County. LACHSA arranges for buses to transport the students to the venue and back. Afterwards, feedback from the teachers is gathered to see if there is any way the experience could be improved.

LACHSA on the Road presents their award winning art students to the community during school assemblies, in after-school library and community centers.
